Water is a natural resource covering 70% of the planets surface with only 3% being fresh water. Less than 1% of this fresh water is available for human consumption and use. If there were no water on the planet, there would be no life. Protecting this natural resource becomes increasingly important as human populations increase, ecosystems weaken, and climate changes. Human beings are primarily responsible for the degradation of water systems and are increasingly made aware of the negative impacts. There has been work to improve and sometimes reverse these damages to our environment. Content within EcoCloud is focused on providing News, Core Knowledge, Tools, Resources, and Success Stories.
